Registered Nurse (RN) In Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required. Structural heart experience highly preferred. EP experience highly preferred. Travel experience highly preferred. Scrubbing experience preferred. Circulating monitoring experience required. Trauma Level I experience preferred. Trauma Level II experience required. License: Active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS (AHA) required. BLS (AHA) required. Must-Have: Candidates must be willing to float across campuses if needed. Must be able to precept as needed. Candidates are required to work 1-2 of the upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed.

Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab environment. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of cardiac procedures and assist with patient monitoring and care. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team. Nurses will be required to float across various campuses to like units when necessary. Experience in trauma care is beneficial. Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate sound clinical judgment.
