Role:

The Registered Nurse assesses, manages, and coordinates patient care during hospital stays, utilizing a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities:

Performs comprehensive assessments, develops and evaluates individualized care plans, administers medications, provides patient and family education, and documents care activities. Recognizes changes in patient condition, collaborates with healthcare team, and ensures adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards. Offers specialized care for high-risk patients, manages pain and abuse assessments, and participates in performance improvement initiatives. Maintains professionalism, effective communication, and respectful interactions with patients, families, and colleagues. Ensures compliance with licensing, certifications, safety protocols, and hospital policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid RN license in applicable states, BLS certification, clinical competence, strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and knowledge of evidence-based practices. Ability to handle emergency situations, physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, and patient transfers.

Providing safe, high-quality, and compassionate care; documenting accurate; participating in ongoing education; maintaining a clean environment; and fostering a respectful, collaborative workplace environment.
