Key Duties
- Assist in cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures (angioplasty, stent placements, etc.)
- Monitor patients during procedures and assess for signs of distress
- Administer medications and manage IV lines per protocol
- Maintain sterile techniques and operate Cath Lab equipment
- Accurately document patient responses, medications, and procedure outcomes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional cardiac care
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, EKG interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience with EPIC or other major EMR systems preferred
