As an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide exceptional medical support to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic services. What You’ll Do
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
- Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, and document findings.
- Notify physicians of abnormal findings.
- Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
- Administer treatments and medications.
- Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Coordinate ongoing care and facilitate discharge planning.
- Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
- Serve as charge nurse when assigned.
- Educate patients and families.
Requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Experience
- One year of recent experience as an RN OR Licensed RN with at least 2 years of LPN experience
Licenses & Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire
