Job Description
We seek a skilled RN with experience in both Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, and troubleshooting during procedures, while also ensuring a safe and efficient workflow in the unit.
Responsibilities
- Participate in patient care by conducting assessments and planning and implementing treatment plans.
- Perform various procedures including cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, and other interventional radiology tasks.
- Monitor and manage patients undergoing sedation and respond to medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in both Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology required.
- Current NY RN license required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
- Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement is required.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is a must.
