Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) with average 8-10 call shifts per month, including 1-2 weekends.

Job Description

We seek a skilled RN with experience in both Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, and troubleshooting during procedures, while also ensuring a safe and efficient workflow in the unit.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in patient care by conducting assessments and planning and implementing treatment plans.
  • Perform various procedures including cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, and other interventional radiology tasks.
  • Monitor and manage patients undergoing sedation and respond to medical emergencies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in both Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology required.
  • Current NY RN license required.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
  • Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement is required.
  • Experience with EPIC charting system is a must.
