About This Role
As an RN in the Endocrinology unit at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in various ambulatory settings, assisting in the delivery of exceptional care and enhancing patient experiences.

What You'll Do
- Perform telephone triage.
- Notify physicians/LIPs of abnormal findings.
- Establish a care plan in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
- Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
- Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician/LIP and monitor patients for response.
- Participate in quality initiatives, process improvements, and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience, and patient safety.
- Maintain professional growth and development in the nursing field and identify annual core competencies.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Experience: One year of recent experience as an RN
- Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within six months of hire for specific procedures
