RN Acute Care Surgery

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a high-acuity acute care setting, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team approach. Models proficiency through precepting and embraces evidence-based practices to ensure safety and quality at the point of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care to specialty units such as Med-Surg with moderate to high patient acuity.
• Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and evidence-based practices.
• Contribute to team efforts to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
• Support ongoing learning, including precepting new healthcare staff.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited or approved nursing program; Bachelor's preferred.
• Valid RN licensure and at least 6 months of nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification through recognized providers.
