RN - Acute Care Rehab Unit

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care to patients with moderate to high acuity on specialty units.
• Support evidence-based practices and contribute to patient safety and quality of care.
• Precept and mentor new healthcare team members, fostering a learning environment.
• Participate in specialty education and competency validation supported by clinical educators.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program if less than 3 years’ experience.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• At least 6 months of RN nursing experience.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification, valid through sixty days of hire.
