We are seeking a dedicated RN - Acute Care House Supervisor to oversee nursing and emergency services during assigned shifts, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care. This leadership role involves decision-making authority in the absence of senior nursing management and requires a compassionate approach to patient advocacy and staff support.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage overall nursing care and staffing patterns to meet patient acuity and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing personnel, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
• Lead during emergency codes and disaster situations when administration is unavailable.
• Assist with staff orientation, evaluations, and open chart reviews as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations and policies.
• Ensure adherence to age-specific standards of care and accommodate unique patient needs.

Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Registered Nurse licensure valid in the regional Midwest area.
• Minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience; charge nurse experience preferred.

Requirements and Certifications

• Current certification in ACLS, PALS, and NRP within six months of hire.
• Certification in TNCC and completion of CCU training within one year of hire.
• Current BLS certification by the American Heart Association standards.
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of start date.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure training requirements.
• Active participation in compliance programs and adherence to organizational policies and codes of conduct.
