What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
- Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study.
Requirements
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required.
Experience:
- External applicants: 2 years of recent related nursing experience required.
- Internal applicants: Less than 2 years of experience considered with Chief Nursing Officer approval.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
