- CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

The following is required:
* Record and take patient history, medication and personal information
* Measure vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature and weight
* Perform basic eye exam, ear lavage, EKG's, and PFT's
* Assist with minor surgeries
* Help the physician with patient examinations - PAP's and minor surgery
* Give patients injections or medications as directed by the physician
* Complete authorizations and referrals
* Complete CLIA lab tests in our office and QC record keeping
* Overseeing compliance with lab and office protocols
* Typing skills and medical terminology proficiency
* Schedule appointments
* Order Medical Supplies
* Manage back office, including fellow Ma's
