Risk SpecialistCordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a Risk Specialist to join our Transportation Sector. This position sites within the Project Controls and Project Financial office.

The role focuses on supporting comprehensive risk management efforts, maintaining risk reporting tools, and collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance program risk oversight.ResponsibilitiesAssist the team in establishing and maintaining cost and schedule baselines to assess risk exposuresSupport input required for external stakeholders, grant applications, and program reportingDevelop and maintain risk reporting tools for cost and schedule risk analysisManage the client's risk register, ensuring proper coordination between program-level and project-level risksMaintain and update the client's Program Risk Management Plan and prepare quarterly risk management reportsProvide guidance and templates for project risk management, including qualitative risk registers and quantitative risk assessmentsSupport project teams in implementing risk management strategies and maintaining project risk contingency plansReview and challenge project-level risk assessments to ensure accuracy and effectivenessCollaborate with Enterprise Risk personnel to align with overall risk management goalsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a relevant discipline plus10+ years in related risk management rolesStrong understanding of risk management processes and methodologiesExcellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skillsPreferred Qualifications/Certifications/LicensuresExperience working in large-scale programs or multi-disciplinary teamsAbility to manage multiple tasks and competing prioritiesKnowledge of risk management practices in infrastructure or construction projectsSalary Range: $75,000 to $105,000 per yearLocation: Sacramento, CAWork Environment: OnsiteOur CompanyCordoba Corporation, Making a DifferenceCordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
