Leading the risk management function, the full-time Risk Manager will establish a risk management framework, develop risk reporting for daily position tracking, and build a risk team as the company expands into new markets. Key responsibilities Lead David Energy's risk management initiatives and framework development Create a risk reporting framework for daily tracking of energy, capacity, and ancillary positions Perform stress case analysis on forward positions and establish risk adders for pricing components Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in retail energy, energy trading, and energy risk management Strong working knowledge of energy markets such as NYISO, ERCOT, PJM, and ISO-NE Exceptional data analytics skills with a mindset for automation Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., physics, mathematics, economics) is preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
