Our large in-house finance team works daily to take our multi-billion-dollar business to the next level.The Risk Manager will support the corporate risk and insurance program by implementing risk management strategies, managing insurance programs, and analyzing potential exposures across the organization.

This position will work with various lines of coverage including auto liability, general liability, workers' compensation, commercial property, stock throughput, and cyber insurance.Risk Analysis & Strategy SupportResearch and evaluate current trends in risk management and loss control utilizing industry-recognized standards and best practicesIdentify and analyze potential risk factors and exposures for current and potential new businessProvide recommendations to mitigate organizational risksSupport the development of risk management strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders and brokersInsurance Program SupportAssist in managing property and casualty insurance programsSupport cost/benefit analysis of program alternativesHelp evaluate adequacy of coverage limits and appropriateness of retentionsParticipate in the annual property and casualty renewal process by working with brokers and internal clients to ensure accurate exposure dataClaims SupportAssist with insurance claims management processesCoordinate with third-party administrators, insurers, legal teams, and internal claims staff on claim mattersHelp maintain formalized claims service standardsCommunication & ReportingProvide consultation and technical advice on insurance and risk management issues to managementPrepare reports and documentation for departmental leadershipMaintain thorough and accurate recordsGeneral ResponsibilitiesWork independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentHandle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraintsRespond professionally to situations involving difficult employee, vendor, or consumer issuesDemonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functionsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Law, Business, or equivalent experience, Required2-4 years of experience in risk management or insurance, RequiredRisk Management Designation (ARM, CPCU), PreferredTechnical Knowledge & SkillsRisk Management Information Systems (RMIS)Business Continuity principlesCasualty claims knowledgeRisk Management principlesMultiple-line insurance policiesProperty Insurance values and placementDocuments Management SystemsWorking knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologiesCore CompetenciesStrong attention to detailExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsThorough documentation practicesExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentialityEffective time management and organizational skillsProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet applicationsWe are an equal opportunity employer and provide a drug-free working environment.
