Role Overview

As a Risk Management – Reputation Risk Vice President in the Firmwide Reputation Risk Governance team, you will be central to the firm’s efforts to anticipate, assess, and manage reputation risk across all business lines and regions. The role offers the opportunity to work on high‑impact projects, develop thematic risk analyses for senior management, and contribute to the evolution of the firm’s reputation risk framework.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of firmwide and line‑of‑business reputation risk themes and emerging issues, leveraging structured and unstructured incidents.
  • Monitor and analyze political, social, and economic global affairs for potential reputation risk impacts.
  • Own and maintain the annual Reputation Risk governance documentation suite (policy, standard, procedures), ensuring timely updates, stakeholder alignment, and adherence to applicable governance requirements.
  • Lead reputation risk tactical and strategic projects, including risk reporting and training to key stakeholders.
  • Analyze data and prepare periodic firmwide and line‑of‑business reporting, including thematic analysis for senior management.
  • Review global regulatory and legal obligations to assess potential impacts on reputation risk management.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of the firm’s risk inventory, ensuring quality and consistency across Lines of Business and participating in risk roundtable discussions.
  • Identify and proactively assess opportunities for process improvements, partner with Technology, Risk Reporting, and Middle Office to implement well‑controlled enhancements.
  • Provide effective guidance and challenge to Lines of Business and Corporate Functions on escalated issues, communicating clearly and professionally to drive alignment and timely resolution.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Minimum five years of experience in financial services, risk management or legal.
  • Working knowledge of GenAI/LLM capabilities and limitations with demonstrated ability to apply firm‑approved tools to improve risk governance and reporting workflows.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the regulatory and legal environment relevant to reputation risk, with the ability to identify emerging obligations and coordinate responses to inquiries.
  • Strong knowledge of JPMorgan Chase’s business lines, processes, and products; ability to navigate across Lines of Business and Corporate Functions.
  • Highly motivated, energetic self‑starter who takes ownership and manages deliverables with strong attention to detail and timely completion.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and evaluate complex issues thoroughly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to provide effective challenge, propose solutions, and appropriately escalate risks.
  • Strong analytical skills to distill complex inputs into clear narratives and executive‑ready materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and drive consensus.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, Capabilities

  • Experience in Reputation Risk (or adjacent qualitative risk) governance.
  • Proven ability to deliver firmwide/multi‑LOB thematic aggregation and executive‑ready reporting.
  • Experience coordinating regulatory inquiries in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and the business.
  • Strong program/project management capability leading cross‑functional initiatives and driving measurable governance modernization outcomes.
