What You Will Do

  • Provide leadership, management, and strategic direction with a focus on delivering an exceptional client service experience, fostering associate growth, and ensuring financial success.
    • Translate firm vision and strategy into an actionable business plan, set objectives, and monitor progress.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop sales and marketing plans, expand services to existing clients, and pursue new clients, including active proposal participation.
    • Coordinate firm resources to deliver the best products and services to clients.
    • Ensure team members receive meaningful training, development opportunities, and timely, thoughtful feedback.
    • Oversee practice profitability, including personnel utilization, service rates, and fee collection.
  • Work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and assist in identifying and managing financial and operational risks, with a focus on technology risk management.
    • Develop in‑depth knowledge of clients’ businesses and industries through direct client interaction across multiple engagement aspects.
    • Think independently and strategically about clients’ business, systems, and risks, providing recommendations for business and process improvements.
    • Provide strategic business advice by assisting in implementing processes and controls that address key risks.
    • Assess, manage, and optimize business risk across areas such as operational audit, enterprise risk management (ERM), and SOX compliance.
    • Review clients’ processes and controls against industry frameworks, identify gaps, and communicate issues and recommendations.
  • Be responsible for significant new business development, including identifying, sourcing, pursuing, and winning risk advisory opportunities.
  • Produce comprehensive executive summaries and final reports for client delivery, documenting and reviewing engagement work papers per industry‑accepted internal audit methodologies.
  • Act as a valued business advisor, building relationships and communicating effectively to provide superior client service.
  • Lead professional and effective presentations to internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or a related program.
  • CPA or CIA designation(s) required.
  • Ten (10)+ years of experience with risk advisory, internal/external audit, business process reengineering, or internal controls, with preference for technology, real estate, life sciences, financial services, or health systems experience.
  • Five (5)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
  • Successful track record of building and growing a Risk Advisory practice, including team building, client base development, and revenue management.
  • Proven track record of new business development.
  • Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, and exhibit ethical knowledge, urgency, and quality focus.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.

The compensation range for this role is $201,810 to $382,600. Actual compensation is influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
