Finance AssociateRise Political Strategies is seeking a full time, salaried Finance Associate to support its day to day fundraising operations.Rise is a boutique, woman-owned national political fundraising firm working with Democratic and progressive causes and candidates.Previous fundraising or political experience (including internships) is preferred but not required. This is an entry level position.ResponsibilitiesAssisting with fundraising call time and follow upIdentifying and researching potential new donorsStaffing call time & eventsCompiling briefings and event materialsProvide key administrative and organizational support for the teamHelp with planning and execution of events, as neededOther responsibilities as requiredQualificationsExtremely organized and detail-oriented, with an interest in democratic fundraisingAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgment, as well as being able to work independentlyAbility to multitask and work in fast paced environmentExperience working in NGP and proficiency in excel and Google Sheets is preferredMust have a valid driver's licenseMust have a cell phone & laptopDue to the nature of campaign work, some nights and weekend work is required. However, Rise is committed to a healthy working environment and work-life balance and will work with you to create a schedule that is sustainable.Prior campaign finance experience is a plus, but not required - this position is a great opportunity for former field organizers with a desire to learn other aspects of a campaignThe salary for this position is $48,000 annually ($4,000 per month) plus a flexible paid time off policy.
