Rigging Department Manager/ Project Manager

PrimaryDuties:

• LeadandsupervisetheRiggingTeaminthedesign,installation,andservicingofRiggingSystems(motorizedhoists,chainmotors,truss,flysystems,andstructuralrigging);salesofprojects;andcreationofsubmittalsandpostprojectdocumentation.
• WorktomaketheRiggingDepartmenta\"welloiled\"machineregardingtimeliness,accuracy,safety,andhigh-qualityinstallations.
• ConductweeklydepartmentmeetingswiththeRiggingTeam.
• WorkwithprojectmanagerstocoordinaterigginginstallationsonjobsiteswithGeneralContractors,Electricians,StructuralSteel,Owners,andothertrades.
• Actasaprojectmanagerasrequired.
• Planandscheduleteammembersfordepartmentfunctions(designs,installations,quotations,servicecalls,etc.).
• Makesurethatclientsarerespondedtoinameaningfulandtimelymanner.
• Workwithpurchasingandlogisticstoensurethatyourteamhasthematerialstheyneedwhentheyneedthem.
• Makerecommendationsforteammembertraining.
• Trainteammembersonrelevanttasks,includingsaferiggingpractices,loadcalculations,andinspectionprocedures.
• Assistininterviewingandhiringnewteammembers.
• Helpmaintainacleanworkingenvironmentintheofficeandonjobsites.
• Workwithotherdepartmentstoschedulemulti-departmentprojects.
• Adviseleadershipwhenmoreteammembersarerequiredaswellaswhenteammembersneedtobereassignedorterminated.
• WorkwithleadershiptomakeProductionsUnlimited,Inc.thebestthatitcanbe.

Requirements:

• Minimumoffiveyearsofexperienceinasimilarroleisrequired.
• ETCPRigger-Theatrecertificationisrequired.
• AutoCADexperienceisrequired.
• ExperiencewithTheatricalriggingequipmentandmanufacturesisaplus.

AdditionalInformation:

• Full-time,exemptpositionwithsalarydependingonexperience,education,andtraining.Range$85,000-$110,000.00
• PUIwillpayforaportionofyourindividualhealthinsuranceeligibleatthefirstofthemonthfollowing30days,ifyouwish.
