To support patient care continuity, the remote full-time Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician will place outbound calls to physician offices for prescription refill authorizations, document call activities, and navigate healthcare systems efficiently. Key responsibilities Place outbound calls to obtain verbal authorization for prescription refill renewals Ensure refill requests are addressed promptly and accurately while maintaining professionalism Document call activity, approvals, denials, and case information accurately Required qualifications Verifiable High School diploma or GED Pharmacy Technician certification or registration (preferred but not required) Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or medical office environments Understanding of pharmacy terminology and medication processes Experience in a high-volume inbound and outbound call environment
