RHIA Licensed DRG Auditor

Auditing inpatient cases for DRG validation and documentation improvement, the full-time RHIA Licensed DRG Auditor will review medical records using proprietary software and client EMR systems, with opportunities for growth into client-facing and mentoring roles, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Review inpatient medical records for validation of DRG assignment Provide detailed rationale and supporting evidence for recommendations and findings Utilize industry-recognized references to support review findings Required qualifications Current AHIMA credentials of RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS 3+ years of ICD-10 auditing and DRG reimbursement experience Recent acute inpatient auditing experience
