Rheumatology Physician

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated rheumatology provider to join their team in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In this full-time role, the clinician will make professional medical judgments in patient care, manage the physician-patient relationship, and contribute to systemwide health initiatives. The position offers an engaging practice setting with a strong focus on outpatient care, professional development, and community health.

Practice Info

• 36 hours of direct patient care
• 4 hours of administrative time
• 16-18 patients per day
• Practice call only, no inpatient responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen
• Manages the physician/patient relationship
• Participates in systemwide health management initiatives
• Provides input into the practice site's financial, clinical, and service quality performance, budget, capital plan, and personnel issues
• Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards
• Receives and resolves patient complaints
• Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers
• Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost effective treatment of patients with rheumatologic disorders

Requirements

• M.D/DO.
• Board eligible or certified in Rheumatology
• NM License Required
