Community Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join its growing specialty practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a thriving outpatient rheumatology practice while working collaboratively with Primary Care providers and specialists. Practice Info

  • Primarily outpatient practice with inpatient consultation support as needed
  • Treat a broad spectrum of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Gout, Vasculitis, Osteoporosis, and Connective tissue disorders
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary care model
  • Established referral network from Primary Care providers
  • Comprehensive outpatient Rheumatology practice
  • Office-based procedures including Joint aspirations and Joint injections

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage rheumatologic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and physical examinations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe and monitor DMARDs, biologics, corticosteroids, and other advanced therapies
  • Perform office-based rheumatologic procedures
  • Interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and bone health assessments
  • Educate patients regarding disease management and long-term treatment strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency
  • Completion of an accredited Rheumatology Fellowship
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Vermont
  • DEA registration (or eligibility)
  • Experience with musculoskeletal ultrasound, osteoporosis management, and office-based procedures is preferred but not required
