RHEUMATOLOGY

PositionOverview: WeareseekingacompassionateandskilledRheumatologisttojoinourexpandingRheumatologydepartmentat theSpringerBuildinginTulsa,Oklahoma.Thisisanexcitingopportunitytobepartofagrowingteamandservea diverseadultpatientpopulation.Thedepartmentcurrentlyincludes5physiciansand3advancedpractice providers(APPs),andwearelookingtoadd onemoreprovidertomeetcommunityneeds.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Provideoutpatientcareforadultpatientswithavarietyofrheumatologicconditions
• Manageamixofconditions,includingautoimmunediseases,musculoskeletaldisorders,and inflammatorydiseases
• Participate in hospital call rotation (1 in every 6 weekends) with weekend call relief during the week if coveringweekends
• UtilizeDragonvoicerecognitionwithEpicfordocumentation
• Conductjointinjectionsandbiopsies(musclebiopsieshandledbyDr.JohnKing,GeneralSurgery)
• CollaboratewithotherspecialistsintheSpringerbuilding,includingEndocrinology,ENT,Podiatry,Dermatology,Ophthalmology,Pediatrics, and Urgent Care

ExpectationsforWorkSchedule:

• MondaytoFriday,8:00AM–5:00PM
• 4.5daysperweekdedicatedtoseeingpatients
• Callschedule:1inevery6weekends
• Weekday/weeknightcallissharedbetween5providers

• InfusionsareperformedatSaintFrancisHospitalYaleortheSFCancerTreatmentCenter
• Theclinicoffersacollaborativeenvironmentwithaccesstoafullrangeofspecialists,includingreferralsforpainmanagementneeds

• PediatricRheumatologyservicesarenotofferedlocally,butpediatricpatients(11yearsandolder)can be seen forconsults inourclinic
• ThedepartmentutilizesDragonvoicerecognitionwithEpicfordstreamlineddocumentation

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Rheumatology
• Open to new graduates
• Experiencewithadultrheumatologyandmusculoskeletalconditionspreferred
• Strongcommunication skillsandabilitytoworkinateam-orientedenvironment
