Rheumatologist

Northwell Health's Division of Rheumatology is actively seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Rheumatologists to join their team across various locations in Long Island, Westchester, Staten Island, and Queens. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a large healthcare system, focusing primarily on outpatient activities while potentially engaging in inpatient consultations, teaching, and scholarly work. The successful candidates will help meet significant community needs within a well-established and geographically distributed division.

• Division of Rheumatology consists of over 50 rheumatologists
• Common administration, electronic record, and weekly virtual educational events
• Part of Northwell Health, New York State’s largest health care provider and private employer
• Northwell Health includes 21 hospitals, 850 outpatient facilities, and more than 16,600 affiliated physicians

Responsibilities

• Focus on outpatient activities
• Inpatient consultations (may be available depending on location)
• Teaching (may be available depending on location)
• Scholarly work (may be available depending on location)

Compensation

• Salary: Commensurate with Experience
• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity
