Sanford Health is seeking a Rheumatologist to join their growing outpatient practice in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This role offers an excellent work/life balance with no inpatient responsibilities and the opportunity to collaborate with a multispecialty clinic and the Fargo, ND Rheumatology department. The position involves managing a full scope of rheumatological conditions within a supportive and expanding health system.
Practice Info
- Outpatient practice with no inpatient responsibility
- Practice with multispecialty clinic of Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Allergy, Orthopedics and Podiatry, and Dermatology
- Opportunity to collaborate with Fargo, ND Rheumatology department's 4 MDs and 2 NPs
- Full scope of rheumatological conditions
- Epic EMR system throughout entire organization
- Referrals consistently come from both within the Sanford Health system as well as outside
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to the setting)
- Provide consultative services
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with diseases of the joints, muscles, bones, and tendons

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Experience demonstrated by fellowship log (for recent fellows) or quality profile from hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the last 12 months (for others)
- Active involvement of inpatient services of at least 50 patients in the last 12 months (if quality profile available)
- Active involvement in the care of 50 patients in clinical practice in the last 12 months (if quality profile not available)
- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine or Pediatric residency program, followed by the completion of a fellowship in Rheumatology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- Achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training if not board certified at the time of application
