Level I Trauma Center | Full-Time, Day Shift | West Reading, PA

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Rheumatologist to join a leading Level I Trauma Center in West Reading, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, day shift position at a 697-bed facility renowned for its comprehensive healthcare services.

Make a Difference in the Lives of Rheumatology Patients

As a Rheumatologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with a wide range of rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, autoimmune disorders, and musculoskeletal pain. You will provide comprehensive care, including patient education, medication management, and collaboration with other specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients with rheumatic diseases, conducting thorough examinations and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with other specialists, such as orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and pain management specialists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of rheumatology.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Licensure: Candidates must be licensed or eligible to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.
• Board Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
