Rheumatologist

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join their growing, physician-led multispecialty medical group in San Francisco, California. This role offers an excellent opportunity to practice full-spectrum, outpatient Rheumatology in a highly collaborative environment with access to an expansive multispecialty physician network. The incoming physician will help develop and grow the Rheumatology program while building a practice that supports clinical autonomy, high-quality patient care, and strong collaboration across specialties.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage a broad range of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions in an outpatient setting, including inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease, vasculitis, osteoporosis, and other complex rheumatologic conditions
• Partner closely with primary care physicians, specialists, advanced practice clinicians, and care teams across the Sutter network to provide coordinated, comprehensive care

Compensation

• Competitive Compensation: guaranteed salary plus production-based bonus
• Salary range: $273,017 - $354,811 /Yr
• Retirement: 8% employer-funded profit-sharing contribution up to IRS maximums—no employee contribution required
• Continuing Medical Education: $6,000 annual CME allowance

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
• Eligible for medical licensure in California
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• Interest in program development and collaborative multidisciplinary practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
