RF Test Engineer
We are seeking RF Test Engineers to support validation and automation of testing for satellite communication hardware. This role combines hands-on RF testing, automated test execution, and analysis to ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Overnight Shift (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM, Monday–Friday)
This role follows an overnight schedule from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. This shift supports continuous testing operations and is subject to overtime based on program needs, with all additional hours compensated.

Onsite Requirement (2-5 days)
This role requires onsite presence in Redmond, WA and is expected to be onsite from 2-5 days per week depending on test equipment availability and lab access requirements. Due to the hands-on nature of RF testing and hardware validation, candidates should be comfortable working consistently in a lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and support RF validation testing across development environments (dev pits, flat sat systems)
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test workflows and regression frameworks
- Run and analyze regression testing using SRM software and automated pipelines
- Utilize RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs) to evaluate system performance
- Perform signal integrity, interference, and performance analysis across RF subsystems
- Analyze logs and test data to troubleshoot issues and identify root cause trends
- Build automated reporting and comparison tools for test results across builds
- Support integration of testing into automated pipelines (e.g., Zerotouch or similar frameworks)
- Provide on-call support for test execution issues and escalations
Top Must-Haves
- 2+ years of hands-on RF testing experience
- Experience with automated test frameworks and data pipelines
- Strong experience with Linux environments and scripting-based test execution
Required Qualifications
- Experience in RF, hardware validation, or system-level testing
- Ability to interpret RF measurements and troubleshoot performance issues
- Strong debugging and log analysis skills
- Experience working with automated testing environments and regression cycles
- Ability to work independently and manage test execution priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, etc.)
- Experience with satellite communications, telecom, or wireless systems
- Python or Bash scripting for test automation
- Experience with large-scale validation environments or system integration testing
- Familiarity with continuous integration / automated test pipelines
