About the Role
Own RF hardware design for encrypted datalink modules — from schematic capture and simulation through prototype validation in anechoic and field test environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and validate datalink RF front ends and antenna systems
- Characterize link performance in contested and noisy environments
- Support integration with embedded software and systems teams
- Produce documentation for compliance and manufacturing handoff
Requirements
- 5+ years RF/hardware design experience (GHz-range links, antennas, filters)
- Proficiency with RF simulation tools and lab instrumentation
- Understanding of EMI/EMC considerations for defense electronics
- Experience with PCB design and design-for-manufacturing
