nThe Work
nSuccessful candidate will:
n• Lead and perform RF/Microwave analyses, design solutions and solve development problems across multiple platforms.
n• Contribute to technical planning, System development and design, requirements decomposition and allocation, detailed trade studies, design verification and validation, cost and risk, testability, and manufacturability.
n• Support top level architecture design, mission planning, requirements decomposition and traceability.
n• Lead development and maturation of RF designs efforts through entire program lifecycle.
n• Interface with subject matter experts and providers of various subsystem products and technologies.
n• Provide RF manufacturing support including assembly and test and automated test system designs.
n• Perform cascade analyses, modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, and test of various RF Subsystems, circuits, and components.
n• Self-sufficient RF Hardware Design Engineer who can work under general direction and independently determine and develop approaches to solutions and lead team throughout full design cycles.
n• Collaborate through effective communication skills with interdisciplinary teams, cross-Business Areas and customers to appropriately communicate status and results.

nBasic Qualifications:
nBachelors degree from an accredited college in a
nrelated discipline, or equivalent
nexperience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of
nprofessional experience with a related Masters
ndegree.
nProficient in RF modeling and simulation.
nUnderstanding of RF/Microwave board
ndesign/cable design, construction, and shielding,
nincluding material selection.
nProficiency with RF measurement techniques
nand equipment.
nProficiency at developing the necessary
nRF/Microwave design artifacts to ensure product
ndevelopment compliance to all customer
nrequirements.
nExperience leading multi-discipline development teams and demonstrated ability to manage cost and schedule.
nAbility to obtain & hold security clearance at the SECRET level.
nDesired Skills:
nProficiency in several of the Simulation tools HFSS (RF and Digital circuit simulation), CST, MW Studio, ADS, AWR Microwave Office, SystemVue, Zuken, and MATLAB/ LabVIEW.
nEffective written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with MS Office tools.
nExperience with RF Amplifiers, Filters, impedance matching and optimization. Experience with phased array radars and associated radiating element design. Experience leading board and assembly designs; Exciter/Receiver, TR modules.
nExperience planning and leading design efforts.

nAbility to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

n(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
nThis position is incentive plan eligible.
nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $142,000 - $246,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
