nSenior RF Engineers are responsible for:
n• Supporting the development and production of complex multi-function modules in all phases of the product life cycle.
n• Designing and developing circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full rate production.
n• Acting independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the implementation of operational products.

nThis position is in Andover, Massachusetts - Located approximately 30 miles northwest of Boston, Andover embodies New England charm. nMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
nBasic Qualifications:
nBachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or BS Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) accepted plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional engineering experience or 1 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
nExperience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues for RF applications.
nExperience with the use of RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
nExcellent communication and presentation skills.
nCandidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain at least an Interim Secret Clearance before starting the position, therefore you must be a US Citizen.
nDesired Skills:
nMaster of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field.
nActive DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
nRelevant experience in the defense electronics industry, including RF applications.
nExperience with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits. Prior RF design experience is preferred.
nDemonstrated experience with microwave simulation tools for RF system design.
nExperience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
nExperience with technical documentation such as specifications, schematic drawings, and test data.
nHands-on hardware experience.
nFamiliarity with production and manufacturing environments.
nAbility to lead failure investigations on production or technical issues.
nAbility work in a team collaborative environment especially with manufacturing and industrial engineers and/or operator on production support.

nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $101,000 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
