The Panther Group is seeking an RF Engineer to support a leading aerospace and defense program in Chelmsford, MA.
These roles focus on RF/microwave systems, circuit analysis, testing, and production support for advanced, high-reliability electronic modules used in mission‑critical applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Support development and production of RF/microwave modules and subsystems
- Perform testing, tuning, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of RF circuits
- Analyze and resolve integration and production issues
- Work with components such as:
- Amplifiers, mixers, switches
- Frequency generation and conversion circuits
- Microwave subsystems and modules
- Utilize RF test equipment:
- Network analyzers
- Spectrum analyzers
- Phase noise analyzers
- Interpret and review:
- Schematics
- Engineering drawings
- Test data and specifications
- Collaborate with:
- Systems, hardware, and design engineers
- Manufacturing and test teams
- Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related STEM field
- Experience level flexibility:
- Level 2: ~1–5 years
- Level 3: ~5–8 years
- Hands‑on experience with:
- RF/microwave testing and troubleshooting
- Circuit analysis and integration support
- Experience using RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Active Secret Clearance required at time of submission
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or high‑reliability electronics
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Familiarity with:
- RF simulation tools
- Microwave circuit design
- Experience with:
- Failure analysis and root cause investigation
- Customer‑facing technical discussions
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Pay $79.71-$97.12 per hour DOE
