About the Role
We are seeking an experienced RF Engineer to support the production, testing, integration, and sustainment of complex RF and microwave systems used in high-reliability applications. This position offers a combination of hands-on hardware work, troubleshooting, manufacturing support, and cross-functional engineering collaboration throughout the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will bring strong RF technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and experience working in production or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the production, integration, testing, and sustainment of advanced RF and microwave assemblies and subsystems.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions to manufacturing and integration challenges.
• Perform hands-on hardware evaluation, testing, and failure analysis.
• Investigate production-related issues and drive corrective actions to improve product performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, systems, manufacturing, and design engineering teams.
• Support product lifecycle activities, including design verification, integration, production testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze test data and provide technical recommendations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and engineering records.
• Participate in technical reviews and present findings to internal stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM-related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience in RF, microwave, electronics, or related engineering fields.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic hardware and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience working with RF/microwave hardware.
• Experience using RF and microwave test equipment, such as: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes
• Experience with RF simulation and analysis tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or other high-reliability electronics industries.
• Knowledge of RF subsystems, including: Antennas, Transmitters and Receivers, Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), High Power Amplifiers (HPAs), Mixers, Switches, Frequency Generation and Conversion Circuits, Microwave Components and Assemblies
• Experience with microelectronics assembly processes and manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to interpret and analyze technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, drawings, and test data.
• Experience leading root-cause investigations and failure analysis activities.
• Prior RF design experience.
• Experience presenting technical information to engineering teams and customers.
• Proven ability to support manufacturing operations and collaborate with production personnel.
