Our long-standing client is adding a Revenue Recognition Lead who will serve as the subject matter expert for revenue recognition within their primary billing environment, partnering closely with Accounting, IT, our third‑party billing provider (Netcracker), and our revenue recognition platform (Aptitude RevStream).
This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of their revenue recognition processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep ASC 606 revenue recognition expertise, a strong understanding of system configurations and testing, and the analytical capability to work with large data sets to validate outcomes, identify issues, and interpret results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA (Preferred)
- 8 + years of revenue recognition experience, including significant exposure to ASC 606, and technical accounting analyses
- Strong exposure to data analytics or business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI or similar platforms
- Has worked in a highly transactional industry where large data volumes, complex billing, and systems integrations are critical
