The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, solid communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing daily audits, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities using various POS and accounting systems.Key Responsibilities:Conduct daily audits for convenience stores and car wash operations using various POS systemsPrepare financial reconciliations and investigate variances as assignedAssist with the month-end closing process, including research and correcting entries in PDIUse accounting software, web tools, and Excel spreadsheets for audit tasksCompose and send clear, concise emails regarding audit issues or discrepanciesMaintain accurate and timely documentation of audit resultsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (required)Minimum of 1 year of auditing experience (required)Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel (required)Proficiency with financial data and numerical analysisExperience using accounting software (PDI experience is a plus)Strong research skills for investigating discrepanciesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic and flexibility to work additional hours when needed to meet deadlinesProficient with 10-key calculatorWork Schedule:Shift: Day Shift (Required)Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required to read and interpret documents, instructions, and manuals, as well as to communicate effectively.The ability to apply logical thinking to execute instructions and resolve problems is crucial.Applicants must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.The role requires regular standing, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
The incumbent must also be able to perform duties in varying work conditions, such as confined spaces.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and the role may occasionally require exposure to an environment containing unrestricted second-hand tobacco smoke.
