Revenue Accounting ManagerThe Revenue Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of revenue reporting. This role leads revenue accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX while delivering timely, data-driven insights to support business decision-making.This position plays a key role in driving process improvements and enhancing the scalability of revenue-related workflows.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, develops high-performing teams, and is comfortable working with large, complex datasets to drive insights and accuracy.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee all revenue accounting activities, including preparation and review of recurring revenue and related journal entriesLead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants to ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant processesOwn and enhance complex revenue models and data workflows, ensuring accuracy and scalabilityAnalyze and reconcile large, complex datasets to validate revenue resultsManage monthly and quarterly revenue reconciliations and reporting analysesOversee commission calculations and payouts, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPartner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Sales to ensure proper revenue recognitionSupport external reporting requirements, including preparation of revenue-related schedules and audit deliverablesIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectivenessMaintain and strengthen internal controls, including documentation of policies and proceduresExperience and EducationBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's preferred)CPA required5–8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or corporate revenue accountingExperience with large public accounting firms is a plusRequired Skills and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, specifically revenue recognition (ASC 606)Experience querying and analyzing data from centralized data sources (e.g., data warehouses) using SQL or similar toolsAbility to build, maintain, and improve complex data models or workflows supporting financial reportingAdvanced Excel skills with experience handling large datasetsExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferredProven ability to identify and implement process improvementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsExcellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skillsBenefits SummaryComprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options401(k) plan with employer matchingEmployee stock purchase programPaid holidays, vacation, and sick leaveWellness programs supporting physical, financial, and mental well-being
