Role Overview

Apply hands-on retail operations expertise to help train next-generation AI systems using accurate, real-world input. This remote contract role supports a customer project in the retail sector; prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review simulated retail scenarios and operational workflows for authenticity and accuracy.
• Share best practices, industry standards, and compliance considerations across retail trade specialties.
• Create, assess, and refine written material covering retail operations, sales processes, and customer service interactions.
• Validate the logic of retail problem-solving approaches and decision-making processes.
• Participate in structured discussions to clarify terminology, operational nuances, and context-specific retail challenges.
• Provide actionable recommendations that improve AI outputs using real-world retail expertise.
• Collaborate remotely through clear written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in retail trade, operations, or a relevant specialty, such as pharmacy operations, retail sales supervision, general management, or retail-focused private investigation.
• Ability to explain complex operational processes and scenarios clearly in writing and conversation.
• Experience implementing or advising on retail best practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail when reviewing workflows, procedures, and case studies.
• Experience collaborating in remote or distributed engagements.
• Familiarity with technology-driven retail solutions or platforms is a plus.
• A proactive problem-solving approach and commitment to accurate, high-quality deliverables.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $40 to $70 per hour.
