Position Overview

At Malley’s Chocolates, the Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional store experience, maintaining operational excellence, and leading a high-performing team. This role is key to creating a welcoming, productive environment that reflects Malley’s values. The Assistant Store Manager leads by example, motivates team members, and ensures smooth day-to-day operations.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain proper inventory levels and help implement FIFO practices to reduce waste.
  • Support regular inventory checks and stock management routines.

Banking and Accounting

  • Assist with cash handling, register balancing, and deposit preparation with accuracy and accountability.

Technology Utilization

  • Use store systems effectively and help train team members on technology tools.
  • Help troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Autonomy and Initiative

  • Actively take ownership of delegated responsibilities and daily store functions.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues proactively.
  • Encourage team responsibility and independence in their roles.
