Retail Installation & Merchandising Specialist
Overview
2020 Companies is seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Retail Installation & Merchandising Specialists to represent leading brands including Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP.
You’ll work independently across retail locations, completing installations, merchandising projects, repairs, and technology updates. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills are essential.
Position Details
Pay: $16.50/hour
Schedule: Primarily Monday Friday; occasional weekends, holidays, early mornings, or late evenings as needed
Hours: Flexible; assignments generally scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Hours are based on available assignments and are not guaranteed
Travel: Up to 90 miles from your residence
Minimum Availability: 20 hours within a rolling 30-day period
Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required
Screening: Background check, MVR screening, and drug screening required in accordance with applicable laws
Responsibilities
Install, assemble, and maintain retail fixtures, displays, shelving, and endcaps.
Complete resets, remodels, build-outs, and display repairs.
Follow planograms (POGs), schematics, and client instructions.
Install and service TVs, kiosks, interactive displays, and related equipment.
Perform software updates and basic hardware troubleshooting.
Replace graphics, pricing materials, SD cards, and other marketing materials.
Complete required forms, surveys, and photo documentation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Communicate with Field Services Management and respond to assignments promptly.
Accurately track time, work activity, and project completion.
Complete required training and certifications.
Work independently while supporting team members and maintaining strong client and retailer relationships.
Requirements
Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
Willingness to travel up to 90 miles per assignment.
Ability to climb ladders up to 10 feet and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
Ability to kneel, crouch, bend, reach overhead, walk, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Comfortable using hand tools, technology, and mobile applications.
Must own an Android or Apple smartphone with an active data plan.
Ability to follow digital work instructions and upload photos/documentation.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Retail, merchandising, installation, or tool experience preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent typically required.
