Job Summary
We are seeking a Retail Banking Branch Manager for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Danville, CA. This onsite leadership role is ideal for an experienced branch banking professional who enjoys leading teams, driving deposit growth, building customer relationships, and maintaining strong operational and compliance performance.

The Branch Manager will work closely with supportive leadership and cross-functional banking partners while coaching a branch team to deliver strong service, sales, and operational results. Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily branch operations, including staffing, workflow, service standards, transaction approvals, operational accuracy, and customer experience.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop branch team members through regular feedback, one-on-one coaching, performance reviews, and sales and service guidance.
- Drive branch growth through deposit acquisition, new account development, cross-selling, customer outreach, referrals, and local business development.
- Maintain strong compliance, audit readiness, internal controls, monthly certifications, and adherence to state, federal, and internal banking policies.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and support complex consumer and business banking needs with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgement.
- Partner with operations, commercial banking, business banking, and other internal teams to support customer retention, referrals, and branch performance goals.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $108,000 per year.
- Employment type: Direct hire, full time.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage full-service branch operations, staff performance, compliance, audit readiness, and customer service delivery.
- Lead sales strategies focused on deposit growth, new account acquisition, referrals, and cross-selling.
- Coach, train, and develop branch employees to meet service, operational, and sales performance expectations.
- Oversee complex consumer and business banking transactions, escalations, exceptions, and account servicing needs.
Most recent role must be Branch Manager or higher, such as AVP, Operations Manager, or similar retail banking leadership role.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a retail banking branch environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Branch Manager in a full-service branch setting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience handling complex business and consumer banking accounts.
- Proven success driving branch sales performance, deposit growth, customer acquisition, or related branch growth metrics.
- Strong knowledge of branch operations, audit preparation, compliance procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational controls.
- 5+ years of experience using core banking systems or banking software for daily operations, account servicing, approvals, and reporting.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- 3+ years of experience using compliance, audit, regulatory tracking, certification, or exception management tools.
- 2+ years of experience using branch performance dashboards or KPI reporting tools to monitor deposits, trends, cost of funds, and branch performance.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Valid California driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience participating in local professional, civic, or business organizations such as a Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, or similar community group.
- Established local business development experience within a community banking or retail banking environment.
- Experience partnering with commercial banking, business banking, lending, or treasury teams on referrals and customer relationship growth.
