Retail Accounting Associate

Retail Accounting ClerkRobinson Oil is seeking a detail-oriented Retail Accounting Clerk to join our corporate accounting team. Working from our corporate headquarters in Santa Clara, this full-time role serves as a key liaison between our accounting department and retail locations, helping ensure accurate and timely financial reporting of daily store activity.What the Retail Accounting Clerk doesReview daily store reports and validate against exception reportsResearch and resolve credit card retrieval and discrepancy requestsReconcile store accounts and general ledger activityProcess accounts payable transactionsPrepare reports and proactively review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistencyPartner with store managers to resolve accounting questions and discrepanciesSupport month-end closing activities and audit preparation as needed.Requirements2+ years previous accounting or bookkeeping experience requiredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams; ability to learn new systems quicklySolid data entry and 10-key skills with a high level of accuracyExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsSelf-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh school diploma required; some college or accounting coursework preferredWho we areRobinson Oil Corporation is a family-owned company operating 40 "Rotten Robbie" gas stations and convenience stores throughout the greater Bay Area.
