As a Restore System Administrator you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAssist in the restoration of files, profiles, and mailboxes using backup applications NetBackup, Avamar, and CommvaultWilling to work in Data Center to facilitate tape movements for data restoresAssist customers with file management, profile standards, and e-mail organizationProfile and permission structure knowledgeResolution and ticket handling awareness to align to SLA obtainmentDevelops, manages and tests backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availabilityDevelops and maintains disaster recovery plans for critical systems and servicesParticipates in disaster recover drills and business continuity planningMaintains detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changesCreates reports on system performance, security incidents, and other key metricsCoordinates with other IT teams to ensure coordinated delivery of IT servicesProvides recommendations for system improvements based on analysis and industry best practicesWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEEDEducation: Technical Training, Certification(s) or DegreeExperience: 5+ years of related experienceTechnical skills: Critical thinker, Quick Learner, Detail Oriented, and Organizational skills.Ability to work well independently, Verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, and technical support skills.Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/PolyUS citizenship requiredRole requirements: Provides support to end users and other IT staff by resolving complex hardware, software, and system related issues.
