Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity is looking for an experienced ReStore Manager to lead our Chesterfield/Mall Drive ReStore.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows how to develop people, engage volunteers, drive sales, create a strong customer and donor experience, and keep a busy retail and warehouse operation moving. Approximately 80% of the workday is spent on the store and warehouse floor, staying connected to the people and the operation.
What You’ll Lead
- Coach, develop, and motivate employees and volunteers
- Own sales performance and 30-, 60-, and 90-day planning
- Oversee merchandising, pricing, inventory, and donation processing
- Strengthen customer and donor relationships
- Support donation acquisition, transportation, driver teams, and fleet safety
- Maintain strong operational and safety standards
What You’ll Bring
- Retail management experience, preferably in home improvement or building supply
- Two years of college in a related field or equivalent experience with a high school diploma/GED
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
- Knowledge of inventory, pricing, budgets, and P&L
- Strong communication, business judgment, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead employees and volunteers in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and access to a vehicle for business purposes
