We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Pure Eats. The ideal candidate has strong restaurant management experience along with previous cooking, grill, or kitchen experience and is comfortable stepping into the kitchen and assisting the team when needed.
This is a hands-on management position for someone who can lead from the front, keep operations organized, and help wherever necessary to ensure excellent service and food quality.
Responsibilities
Restaurant Operations
Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure smooth and efficient front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer service.
Monitor inventory, ordering, food preparation, portion control, and waste.
Help manage food and labor costs while maintaining quality and service standards.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements.
Kitchen & Grill Support
Assist with cooking, food preparation, and grill operations when needed.
Be comfortable stepping onto the line during busy periods or staffing shortages.
Ensure recipes, portions, preparation methods, and food quality remain consistent.
Work closely with kitchen employees to maintain an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen.
Staff Management
Recruit, train, supervise, and develop restaurant team members.
Create employee schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance, attendance, cleanliness, and customer service.
Lead by example and maintain a professional, positive work environment.
Provide ongoing coaching and training to improve team performance.
Customer Service
Ensure customers receive prompt, friendly, and professional service.
Address customer questions, feedback, and complaints professionally and effectively.
Create a welcoming experience for Vibe Fitness members and Pure Eats customers.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
Monitor sales, expenses, inventory, labor, and food costs.
Assist with budgeting and achieving restaurant financial goals.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase sales.
Work closely with the General Manager and ownership to ensure smooth overall operations.
Qualifications
5+ years of restaurant management experience required.
Previous cook, line cook, grill, or kitchen experience required.
Strong understanding of both front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant operations.
Ability and willingness to work hands-on alongside the team when needed.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Reliable, professional, responsible, and able to hold staff accountable.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, inventory, and cost control.
Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
Interest in health, fitness, food, and wellness is a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
