Restaurant Host

Location: Times Square, NYC Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Shift: Evenings, weekends, and holidays

We're hiring a Host for a high-volume, multi-level rooftop venue. You'll be the first and last impression for every guest — managing arrivals, reservations, and flow across the venue. This role suits someone polished, organized, and calm under pressure.

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins across multiple floors and sections
• Coordinate with floor managers and servers to balance seating and table turnover
• Answer phone inquiries and assist with reservation bookings
• Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus
• Maintain an organized, presentable host stand and entrance area
• Handle guest concerns or special requests, escalating to management as needed
• Support smooth guest flow between venue levels

• Prior hosting or guest services experience preferred
• Polished, professional presence with strong communication skills
• Comfortable using reservation/table management systems (Resy, OpenTable, SevenRooms)
• Able to stand and move for extended periods, including stairs across multiple floors
• Calm, organized, and guest-focused under pressure
• Available nights, weekends, and holidays
