Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate for a reputable electrical supply company in the Hattiesburg area. This position combines customer service, sales support, inventory management, and warehouse duties. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the sales counter with product inquiries, orders, and purchases
• Provide exceptional customer service while identifying customer needs and recommending solutions
• Process sales transactions and prepare customer orders accurately
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain inventory within the warehouse
• Pull, stage, and load customer orders for pickup or delivery
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (training available if needed)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control procedures
• Support inside sales efforts and assist team members as needed
• Unload incoming shipments and verify received materials against purchase orders

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, counter sales, warehouse, or electrical supply experience preferred
• Knowledge of electrical products and materials is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
