Entry-Level Welder / Fitter
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Welder / Fitter to join our team. No extensive welding experience is required—training will be provided for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity to learn valuable welding and fabrication skills while working with structural steel.
Responsibilities
- Learn and perform MIG welding using 1/16" welding wire.
- Weld and fabricate structural steel components.
- Assist with fitting, measuring, cutting, and positioning steel materials.
- Read and follow basic work instructions and measurements.
- Set up and safely operate welding equipment and hand tools.
- Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Work alongside experienced welders and fitters while developing welding skills.
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to learn welding and fabrication.
- Previous welding, fitting, construction, or shop experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work with structural steel and perform hands-on physical work.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday on a long day shift.
