This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Are you a compassionate individual who has previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities and limited verbal/communication skills? If so, then this is the position for you!

We are seeking a Respite Worker to provide respite care for an elementary-age child with Autism! This child loves playing on the trampoline, going to parks, being outdoors, and riding his adaptive bike.

Respite care will be conducted in the child's home. Community outings are also encouraged.

WAGE

$17.66 per hour (pay increase based on experience)

SCHEDULE

• Afternoon, Evenings, and Weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
• Flexible Schedule to be determined by family.

JOB DUTIES

• Supervision and Safety
• Toileting (Assistance with Incontinence/Diapers)
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, Dressing, Grooming etc.)
• Active attentiveness
• Companionship and Social Engagement
• Transportation to and from Community Outings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Criminal/Caregiver background check.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required.
• Ability to remain active & Be fast on your feet and ready to keep up!
• Compassionate individuals with childcare or respite care experience preferred.
• Experience with children with Autism or development disability preferred.
• Individual attending High School and College encouraged to apply.
