Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Electrophysiology Lab

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with rotating late shifts. No weekends or holidays required.

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in electrophysiology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory therapy services in a clinical setting. RRTs are expected to float to various units within their competencies and must maintain flexibility in their scheduling to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate, monitor, and assess patients undergoing procedures with moderate sedation.
• Provide respiratory therapy for adult and geriatric patients, focusing on cardiac rhythm issues.
• Conduct assessments and prepare patients for procedures in the electrophysiology lab.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RRT, with specific expertise in electrophysiology labs.
• Valid RRT certification with BLS/ACLS certifications on file at the time of submission.
• Proven experience in circulating, monitoring, and providing assessments during procedures.
• Epic EMR experience required, with a preference for scrub experience as well.

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
