Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Location: Beckley, WV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 18:00 - 06:30 (Every Other Weekend/As Needed)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will work independently and be comfortable handling critical cases, as well as being the sole Respiratory Therapist on duty. Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapy treatments, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed.
  • Perform assessments and monitor patient progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective patient care plans.
  • Provide education for patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and treatments.
  • Must be a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in West Virginia.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency Room or Critical Care settings.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
